Drink · bars and lounges
The bars, and which ones suit a quiet drink
Most bars here are built for noise — screens, DJs, booths. Two are calmer. All but the pool bar are for adults only after dark.
Six places to have a drink
- Nineteen at The Star (rooftop) Wednesday to Saturday from 4pm, nineteen floors up with the skyline in front of you; DJs after sunset and private booths with bottle service. Under-18s are not allowed in the bar. Spritz Saturdays run 4pm to 7pm.
- Isoletto Pool Club The calm one. On Level 6 beside the pool with the 12-metre glass viewing wall, for hotel guests only, with spritzes and cocktails brought to your cabana. Bar and kitchen open 11am to 4pm every day, weather permitting.
- Cherry Bar On the main gaming floor, so 18+. A 22-metre bar, seasonal cocktails and four VIP booths of up to ten guests. Open from 5pm Monday to Wednesday and from noon Thursday to Sunday.
- Sports Bar Twenty-three screens and a 10.5-metre giant screen, VIP booths, an outdoor terrace and TAB facilities. Trivia every Tuesday, registration 6pm for a 6:30pm start. Adults only.
- Atrium Bar Booths, a disco ball, live music and Comedy Club every Sunday — doors 6pm, comedy 6:30pm to 8pm, presented by Based Comedy. Adults only; booths need a pre-paid package.
- Veladora A mezcal and tequila speakeasy, currently offered for private hire for up to 30 people rather than as a walk-in bar.
For a couple who want to talk
In the afternoon, the Isoletto Pool Club; in the evening, the terrace at Nineteen before the DJ starts, or the Garden Bar lounges at Garden Kitchen & Bar on a Thursday when the music is jazz rather than a dance set. Cherry and the Sports Bar are on or beside the gaming floor and are lively by design.
Big-screen nights
The Sports Bar is where the resort shows major events. On Melbourne Cup day, Tuesday 3 November 2026, walk-ins were advertised at the Sports Bar, Cherry Bar, M&G and on The Lawn, with The Potbelleez playing free on The Lawn from 4:15pm. On Friday 13 November 2026 the Sports Bar hosts a ticketed Ultimate Sports Lunch. The bar's terms note that special events can take priority over the regular football coverage on its main screens.
Rules that apply everywhere
- The resort practises the responsible service of alcohol; staff can refuse service.
- Casino-level bars require you to be 18 or over and to carry acceptable ID: a photo proof-of-age card, an Australian or foreign driver licence, or a passport.
- The dress standard is smart casual; thongs are not allowed on the gaming floor after 6pm, and headwear and swimwear are not allowed there at all.
- Booth packages at Cherry, Atrium and the Sports Bar are sold in advance by enquiry.
