The Star Residences: apartments with a kitchen
One to four bedrooms in Towers 1 and 2, each with a kitchen and laundry, and access to the resort's pools. The pick for families and friends sharing.
The Star Residences are self-contained apartments inside Tower 1 and Tower 2 of the resort. Each one has a kitchen with a Nespresso machine, a separate lounge, laundry facilities, an in-room safe, Wi-Fi, Foxtel and a TV you can cast to from a phone or laptop. Cots, highchairs and rollaway beds are available on request. Booking direct gives on-site check-in, access to the resort's amenities and the in-apartment dining service the resort calls The Star at Home.

Zip Queen beds can be split into two singles, which is what makes the three-bedroom apartments work for a family with older children or for friends who do not want to share a bed.
Which pools and gyms you can use
This is where the Residences differ from a normal hotel, so it is worth reading slowly. Each residential tower has its own pool, gym, wellness spaces and outdoor cooking area. The spa facilities inside the Residences are for Tower 1 guests only. Guests in either tower may also use The Star Grand's pools and spa pools, the Star Grand gym and Azure Spa, and the Isoletto Pool Club on Level 6. Guests in the Ocean Sky Villa also get access to the Darling Pool for their stay. The resort adds that access is subject to availability and operational needs.
Family Time package
For families the resort lists a Family Time package at the Residences: a welcome gift for children aged 12 and under, doughnuts and a fruit platter delivered to the apartment, 50% off breakfast at Harvest Buffet and parking included. Terms apply, and in October 2026 it sat in the resort's offers window for stays to 30 November 2026.
Good to know
- Private dining rooms in the Residences can be booked with complimentary venue hire — handy for a birthday dinner without leaving the building.
- The Residences guests share the resort car park, with the same flat guest rate as The Star Grand and the same warning that spaces are not guaranteed.
- The resort's leasing pages describe a G:link tram station right at the doorstep and Pacific Fair, the beach and the Convention Centre within walking distance.
